Molly Goldie

I am a Kiwi married to an Aussie and currently live in the beautiful Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We live off grid and back onto the Opua State Forest where I get some of my greatest inspiration and motivation.

I volunteer with Bay Bush Action and spend time in the bush clearing traplines of some of New Zealand’s most harmful introduced pests to our native flora and fauna. This activity also supplies me with a great number of skulls and bones from which I am able create some of my art.

I am a lover of repurposing and can spend hours in an old farm paddock or stormy beach fossicking for treasure that has not finished its journey. Needless to say, Opp. shopping is also a favourite pastime.

Do I have a specialised field? not really. I just do what makes my heart sing.
